Our Mission

Our aim and passion are to facilitate an increase in a fair access to education; and to transform lives globally keeping abreast of the global challenges of the future trends.

Our Values

  • Our values are based on the outcome of a consultation with our community.

  • The focus of our values lies at the diversity, equal opportunities, and inclusion. This is aligned with our continuous endeavour to Commitment, Openness, Engagement, Listen, Respect and  Tolerance.

  • Our values are aimed at keeping us striving to deliver our mission and demonstrate how we aspire to care for our staff, students, and the community.

  • We aim to work as a global community and engage external partners to deliver our mission.

  • Our objectives originate from the strategy that we achieve the best for ourselves and our stakeholders, responding dynamically to new challenges.

  • Equality being at the centre of our commitment prompts us to be inclusive, addressing discrimination in all its forms.

Pillars

To achieve our mission, we have identified five pillars that will support our strategy.

  • Achieving student success

Having an noble and productive platform of UKCAB, Philip Hopton SMS (a subsidiary of UKCAB) is committed to high quality delivery in education, research and the wider student experience. We will continue to provide an outstanding academic and social experience, to ensure our students’ success.

  • Invest in our people

We seek our community members to impact and direct the diversity of our student body and the wider community. We endeavour to facilitate our staff to reach their full potential by developing a supportive, extensive, collaborative and favourably growing working environment.

  • Influence through a continuous development

Development is the only “Change” we seek. Through continuous development we yearn to reach more students, employers and communities, and ensure Philip Hopton SMS has a sustainable future.

  • Growth through partnerships

We aim to associate with partners with whom we share implacable growth and nobel goals. This would mean sharing our knowledge and expertise with other universities, further education colleges, and civic and sporting organisations at home and abroad.

  • Exploring new horizons

Progress is the only way forward for us. Hence, we aim to continue explore new horizons for our operations. Investing in new venues will indicate that we offer our facilities to the community and help the economy grow alongside us. This is aimed at playing a dynamic role in the educational, cultural, welfare and economic life of local communities.
